Updated October 2022 COYOTE DRIVE-IN photo courtesy of Coyote Drive-In Coyote is a new-age drive in founded in 2011 in Fort Worth, where you can watch a movie with the skyline in the background With a variety of movies ranging from PG to R ratings, this is a fun spot for both children and adults. But people were quiet during the movie so that was good. With their headlights on, it was the equivalent (but worse) to that person in the theater who can’t stop texting and everyone knows it because we can all see his bright screen. I also didn’t like that they allowed people to come in well after the movie had started. Even so, you’d think they’d have better quality speakers outside so you could listen to those. If we ever go back, we will be taking a portable radio to have with us outside rather than relying on our vehicle’s radio. So we sat inside the truck and the sound was better there but we were but still disappointed as our kids could not see the screen from the back seat. We had our truck’s volume turned up all the way and still couldn’t understand what they were saying from our truck bed. But thats not all they offer - their Coyote Canteen will. The sound quality at screen 3 was great for all the ads but deteriorated pretty badly when the trailers and then movie started. Located deep in the heart of Fort Worth, the Coyote Drive-In shows new and classic films 7 nights a week, with a double feature every night. The playground is a bit disappointing as it looks to be for toddlers only. ![]() I had never been to this drive in before but have been wanting to go for a long time. ![]() We went to see the new Bill & Ted movie (which I don’t recommend: not as funny as the others). ![]()
